WHAT WE ARE

SKYBOUND is an all-new imprint of Image Comics. The imprint will give a new generation of comic book creators the opportunity to publish their works as SKYBOUND Originals. With SKYBOUND, Image COO Robert Kirkman will handpick up-and-coming creators and maintain an active role in promoting and expanding the projects of this already growing talent pool. Artist and imprint alike will be fully vested in the development of their properties into new mediums (e.g. television, film) globally.

WHO WE ARE

ROBERT KIRKMAN, PARTNER
Robert Kirkman is a New York Times bestselling author known for being the cultural zeitgeist of the comic book industry. He maintains one prerogative in every undertaking: quality. It is Kirkman's belief that good people who produce good writing and good ideas make comics people love. Kirkman was recently made partner at Image Comics, and continues to revive the industry with refreshing new characters. AMC is adapting his bestselling series, The Walking Dead, into a TV series (set to debut in October 2010), and his books are among the most popular on the iPhone and iPad's "Comics" app.

J.J. DIDDE, PARTNER
J.J. has founded, run, and sold numerous enterprises, primarily in the natural resources and government contracting fields. Publishing was the obvious next venture. J.J. brings with him a strong work ethic, having been a champion pugilist at University. J.J., known primarily for his relentless and unyielding personality, is also a strong supporter of charity, giving generously to the Firearms without Borders organization.

SINA GRACE, EDITORIAL DIRECTOR
Artist, writer, comics enthusiast and currently Editor of all of Kirkman's ongoing titles including future Skybound Originals, Sina Grace has made an editorial impact on many of comics' top titles.

TIM DANIEL, DESIGNER
A print and web designer with a history of working alongside independent comic book creators, helping to bring their properties to print. Tim provides design and production assistance for Image-Shadowline titles; Existence 2.0, Forgetless, Shuddertown, Morning Glories as well as web design and support to some the industry's top talents.
